Parking in Seville Centre 2026: Garages and Free Spots

Central Seville is NOT inside any Low Emission Zone in 2026 – the ZBE only covers Isla de la Cartuja. Casco Antiguo, Triana, Nervión and Macarena are all freely accessible. Paid street parking uses Apparkya (the official AUSSA app) with three zones: Azul (€0.85/h, 2 h max), Verde (€0.65/h start, 3 h max) and MAR (the highest-rotation strip, 1 h max). For longer stays, the SABA covered garages at Plaza Nueva, Plaza de la Concordia and Plaza de Armas all start around €3 per hour with bookable daily rates online. Holy Week and Feria de Abril both cause major closures – the Charco de la Pava P+R (7,370 free spaces + TUSSAM shuttle) is the standard fallback.

Seville's ZBE: a Cartuja-only zone

Confusion about Seville's ZBE costs visitors money every week. Here is the simple version: the Low Emission Zone covers only Isla de la Cartuja (Cartuja Norte and Cartuja Sur). The historic centre and all tourist areas remain unrestricted.

Area2026 ZBE status
Casco Antiguo (Cathedral, Alcázar, Santa Cruz)✅ No restrictions
Triana✅ No restrictions
Nervión, Macarena, Los Remedios✅ No restrictions
Isla de la Cartuja⚠️ ZBE Mon-Fri 07:00-19:00, sticker A vehicles banned, €200 fine
Common mistake: guides often say “Seville has a ZBE – get an environmental sticker.” For a modern rental car visiting the centre this is irrelevant. Sticker B, C, ECO or 0 covers you on Cartuja anyway, and you do not need any sticker for the centre.

Seville street parking: Azul, Verde, MAR

Verde (mixed)~€0.65/h start3 h€0.65 (60 min) → €2.00 (180 min)
MAR (rotation)~€0.60-1.25/h1 h€0.60 (35 min) → €1.25 (60 min)

Hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-14:00 and 17:00-20:00; Saturdays 10:00-14:00. July-August: morning-only (09:00-14:00) on weekdays. Sundays and holidays: free.

“Zona Naranja” myth: there is NO orange zone in Seville. That colour belongs to Granada and other Andalusian cities. Seville uses Azul / Verde / MAR. Older guides still mention it – they are wrong.

Free parking and the Holy Week / Feria fallback

Charco de la Pava (P-13)

Massive ~7,370-space free gravel lot on the right bank of the Guadalquivir, opposite the fairgrounds. Free year-round. During Feria de Abril it is the official fairground parking with a free TUSSAM shuttle bus running continuously.

Outer Triana / Los Remedios riverfront

Paseo de Nuestra Señora de la O and side streets toward San Jerónimo have non-regulated kerb parking. Plan 15-25 minutes' walk across the Triana bridge into the centre.

Around Isla de la Cartuja (caution)

Outer Cartuja has free street parking, but ZBE Mon-Fri 07:00-19:00 applies – if your car is sticker A (very old) you risk a €200 fine. Weekends and evenings are unrestricted.

Holy Week (Semana Santa) 2026 impact

Dates: 29 March – 5 April 2026. The mobility plan runs 16 March – 6 April.

  • Plaza de la Campana fully closed Tue 24 March 10:00 until Easter Sunday.
  • Carrera Oficial (Campana, Sierpes, Plaza San Francisco, Avenida de la Constitución, Cathedral) closed to traffic during processions.
  • Over 2,000 special spaces, headlined by a ~1,200-space P+R at Blas Infante metro stop (Line 1).
  • Central garages (Plaza Nueva, Concordia, Cano y Cueto) fill by mid-afternoon – pre-book.

Feria de Abril 2026 impact

Dates: 20-26 April 2026 (alumbrado Sunday night 19, fireworks Sunday night 26).

  • P-13 Charco de la Pava (7,370 free spaces) = official Feria parking with free TUSSAM shuttle from Mon 20 April until 02:00 Mon 27 April.
  • Streets around Los Remedios fairground heavily restricted – resident-only access.
  • Many central streets retain normal access, but Charco + shuttle is the recommended option.

Payment apps used in Seville

  • Apparkya – the OFFICIAL AUSSA app for GES on-street zones (Azul, Verde, MAR). Your primary install.
  • Telpark (formerly Empark) – GES on-street + Telpark/Empark garages.
  • EasyPark – works for GES on-street in Seville.
  • ElParking, Parkimeter, Parclick for pre-booking covered garages.
Not in Seville: the MOVA app is for Málaga and Smou is for Barcelona – neither works in Seville. Stick with Apparkya / Telpark / EasyPark.

Parking by Seville neighbourhood

Santa Cruz (Cathedral / Alcázar)

Narrow medieval lanes, no street parking. Use Interparking Cano y Cueto or SABA Plaza Nueva and walk.

Macarena

Outside the tourist core. Mostly Zona Verde and some unregulated streets. Free Sundays.

Triana

No ZBE. Mix of Zona Azul and free riverside streets toward San Jerónimo. Best base if you are happy to walk across the Triana bridge.

Nervión / La Buhaira

Modern shopping district. Centro Comercial Nervión Plaza offers paid covered parking; outer streets have Verde or free zones.

Isla de la Cartuja

Only area with the ZBE. Weekdays 07:00-19:00 – check your sticker. Free street parking widely available evenings and weekends.

Watch out: “guardacoches” near the Cathedral and Plaza de España will gesture you into legal blue-zone bays and ask for €5-€10. They have no authority – decline politely and pay the proper meter via Apparkya.

Tips before you park in Seville

  • Install Apparkya on Wi-Fi before you arrive – SMS verification is unreliable on roaming.
  • For a full day in the centre, pre-book Interparking Cano y Cueto (~€23.94) – cheaper than two SABA half-days.
  • Holy Week or Feria: use Charco de la Pava + shuttle, not central garages.
  • Sundays and holidays: all blue/green/MAR zones are free.
  • July-August weekdays: enforcement is morning-only. Park after 14:00 free until next morning.
  • Do not enter Cartuja Mon-Fri 07:00-19:00 with a sticker-A vehicle – €200 fine.
  • Do not pay informal “guardacoches”.
  • Do not assume the centre is in the ZBE – only Cartuja is.
  • Do not use MOVA or Smou – those are other Spanish cities.
  • Do not stay more than 2 hours in a Zona Azul – you cannot just buy a new ticket.

FAQ: Parking in Seville

No. The ZBE only covers Isla de la Cartuja, Mon-Fri 07:00-19:00. The historic centre, Santa Cruz, Triana, Nervion and Macarena are all unrestricted.

Interparking Cano y Cueto at around 23.94 EUR per 24 hours pre-booked. SABA Plaza de la Concordia from 3.05 EUR per hour is cheaper for short stays.

No. Seville uses Azul, Verde and MAR. The orange zone is Granada and a few other Spanish cities. Older online guides confuse them.

Apparkya is the OFFICIAL AUSSA app. Telpark and EasyPark also work. MOVA (Malaga) and Smou (Barcelona) do NOT work in Seville.

Charco de la Pava (P-13) with 7,370 free spaces and a free TUSSAM shuttle is the official option. For Holy Week, the 1,200-space P+R at Blas Infante metro stop on Line 1 is the city plan.

Yes – all Azul, Verde and MAR zones are free on Sundays and Spanish public holidays. Garages still charge their normal rate.
