Driving into Barcelona on a non-compliant car can cost you €200 per camera trip. The smarter move: park outside the ZBE Rondes and metro in. The AMB Park&Ride network gives you free parking at 9 lots (~573 spaces total) as long as you validate a public-transport ticket. Plaça del Fòrum (BSM) is the best municipal Park&Ride for the city centre – from €11.95/day, metro Line 4 to Catalunya in 15 minutes. The ZBE covers ~95 km² between Ronda de Dalt and Ronda Litoral plus parts of L'Hospitalet, Cornellà, Esplugues and Sant Adrià de Besòs. Excluded enclaves inside the perimeter: Vallvidrera, Tibidabo, Les Planes, Zona Franca.

BSM (Barcelona de Serveis Municipals) operates four lots with a dedicated Park&Ride day rate.
The flagship – Ronda de Sant Ramon de Penyafort 1, >700 spaces, covered. 8-minute walk to metro L4 El Maresme | Fòrum and tram T4. Truly outside the dense centre. From €11.95/day, 2 days €23.90, 3 days €35.85.
Walk to Plaça Espanya for metro L1/L3, FGC, Renfe Sants. Best for visitors heading to Montjuïc or for a quick FGC ride into Vallvidrera.
Metro L3 Vall d'Hebron. Suits visitors heading to Park Güell area or staying in upper Eixample.
The fourth BSM P+R, also on the L3 north corridor. Useful as overflow when Sant Genís is full.
Operated by the Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona via the dedicated app “AMB P+R Aparcaments d'Intercanvi Metropolitans”. Parking is free; activation requires validating any of these public-transport tickets: T-Casual, T-Usual, T-Jove, T-Familiar, T-4, Bonotren 10 or a monthly Renfe pass.

T-Casual is the cheapest way to get 5+ rides if you are using AMB P+R: one validation activates the free parking.
Drive south via the C-32. Exit at Mataró or Premià de Mar. Park free at the Rodalies station, T-Casual to Plaça de Catalunya in 30-40 min. Or go on to BSM Plaça del Fòrum for the easiest centre access.
Castelldefels Rodalies (105 free spaces with AMB app + T-Casual) is the cleanest option. Train to Sants in 25 min, then metro anywhere.
