Vicenza's historic centre is a 24/7 ZTL with eleven camera-controlled gates. Most central paid car parks (Park Verdi, Park Borgo Berga and the others operated by GPS Global Parking Solutions) sit just outside the walls and start from €0.50 per 15 minutes. If you only need to visit Palladio's UNESCO buildings for a few hours, the smartest move is the free interchange car park at Cricoli or Stadio with the SVT Centrobus shuttle at €2.90 return – parking is free, you only pay the bus. ZTL fines run €83 to €332, and as of 2026 multiple same-day entries to the same ZTL count as a single violation.
The Zona a Traffico Limitato has been in force since 1996. Eleven varchi (camera gates) ring the historic centre, all enforced 24 hours every day with only Corso Fogazzaro running on a dual schedule (20:00-09:00 weekdays, 24h on Sundays and holidays).
| Gate (varco) | Sector |
|---|---|
| Piazzale de Gasperi / Porta Castello | Centro |
| Via Montagna | Centro |
| Contrà Pedemuro San Biagio | Centro |
| Corso Fogazzaro | Dual schedule |
| Contrà Porti, Gazzolle, Carpagnon | Centro |
| Stradella Santo Stefano, Contrà San Faustino | Centro |
All operated by GPS Global Parking Solutions S.p.A. (concessionaire since 1 September 2022, succeeding the earlier AIM Smart Solutions arrangement). Live tariffs on vicenzaparcheggi.it.

Italy froze national blue-zone tariff increases for all of 2026 (Milleproroghe decree). The biggest practical change for visitors: multiple same-day entries to the same ZTL now count as a single violation per the 2026 Codice della Strada reform. Previously each camera trip was a fresh fine; now you cannot be hit twice for entering and leaving the same zone on the same day.
The Cricoli or Stadio interchange car parks (free parking) plus the SVT Centrobus shuttle (€2.90 return) – total cost is about 3 EUR for a full day, by far the cheapest option for visitors.
Only if you have a permit (residents, hotel guests via hotelier registration, taxis, emergency). The ZTL is enforced 24/7 by cameras. Fines start at 83 EUR, 30 percent discount if paid within 5 days.
Most blue street zones and Park Barche are free or very cheap on Sundays and holidays. Park Verdi caps Sundays at 5 EUR. Park Barche charges 1 EUR for 4 hours on Sundays.
The official GPS Vicenza app, plus EasyPark, Telepass and MyCicero. ParkAppy is not confirmed for Vicenza.
During Vicenza Oro and other Fiera events, blue zones near the fairground go up to 10 EUR per day. Best plan: use Park Stadio interchange + Centrobus.
83 to 332 EUR base, 30 percent discount within 5 days. As of the 2026 reform, multiple same-day entries count as a single violation.
