Treviso has a permanent ZTL Centro Storico inside its Venetian walls — driving in is a guaranteed EUR 80-300 fine (USD 87-326), so park at one of the four perimeter lots (Foro Boario, Park & Ride Dal Negro, Sant'Andrea, Park Pellicciai) and walk five to ten minutes through medieval gates. Foro Boario is the largest free option (around 200 spaces). Paid lots run EUR 1 to 1.30 per hour and EUR 8 to 14 per day. The ZTL is camera-enforced 24/7 — only residents and pre-registered hotel guests get in. EasyPark, MyCicero and MooneyGo all work for the small zona blu around the perimeter. This guide covers the four practical lots, the LAM line bus from Treviso airport (TSF) for travellers connecting to the city, the Saturday market parking trap, and the EUR 80 fine you avoid by walking the last 200 metres.
Treviso uses Italy's standard line-colour system plus a tightly-enforced ZTL Centro Storico inside the Venetian walls. The historic centre is small (under 1 km diameter) so walking five to ten minutes from any perimeter lot is genuinely viable.
| Zone | Colour | Rate (2026) | Hours | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zona blu | Blue lines | EUR 1-1.30/h (USD 1.10-1.40) | Mon-Sat 08:00-13:00 + 15:00-20:00 | Free Sundays |
| Zona bianca | White lines | Free | 24/7 | No time limit unless signposted |
| Zona gialla | Yellow | Restricted | Per sign | Loading or specific permits |
| Zona rosa | Pink | Resident-only | 24/7 | EUR 41-100 fine |
| ZTL Centro Storico | — | — | 24/7 | EUR 80-300 fine |
Outside the walls, parking is genuinely cheap and plentiful. The catch is that perimeter lots fill on Saturdays during the morning market (08:00 to 13:00) and during the Tiramisu World Cup festival in early November.
Five practical options. All sit just outside the Venetian walls within a 5 to 10 minute walk to Piazza dei Signori.
The biggest free perimeter lot, around 200 spaces on a paved area west of the historic centre. Five to seven minutes' walk into Piazza dei Signori via Porta Santi Quaranta. Open 24/7. Fills on Saturday mornings during the weekly market — arrive before 09:00 if visiting on Saturday. No security cameras, do not leave valuables visible.
Paid municipal lot east of the walls with around 350 spaces. Combined ticket with the city bus shuttle: EUR 5 per day with two-way bus to centre included. Bus drops you 100 m from Piazza dei Signori in 7 minutes. Indoor section partially covered, CCTV. Particularly useful for weekday workers and longer stays.
Open-air paid lot directly outside Porta San Tomaso, the closest paid option to the centre — about a four-minute walk to Piazza dei Signori. Around 120 spaces. Useful when you want a guaranteed spot and minimal walking, especially in winter rain. Pay at the meter on arrival; no overnight surcharge.
Multi-storey covered private garage on Via Pellicciai, 350 m from Piazza dei Signori. The closest indoor garage to the centre. Around 200 spaces, security cameras, EV chargers. Reservable on Parclick. Walk-in EUR 1.30 per hour or around EUR 14 per day; reserved EUR 9 to 11 per day.
Multi-storey at Treviso Centrale railway station, 800 m south of Piazza dei Signori. Useful if you arrive by train from Venice or Padova or are continuing onward by rail. Around EUR 1 per hour or EUR 12 per day. Indoor section covered. About 11 minutes' walk to the centre via Via Roma.
Three reliable free options. All are within 5 to 10 minutes' walk of Piazza dei Signori.
The 200-space free lot west of the centre. Five to seven minutes walk via Porta Santi Quaranta. Open 24/7 with no time limit. Saturday mornings 08:00 to 13:00 are the only stretch when you should expect difficulty finding a space — the weekly market draws crowds.
Free white-line parking along the Sile river east of the historic centre. Around 60 to 80 spaces. The walk into the centre crosses scenic canals — the part of Treviso that genuinely looks like a “mini Venice”. Less reliable than Foro Boario for capacity but a beautiful approach to the centre.
Streets in the Cal di Breda neighbourhood (south of railway station) have white-line parking with no time limit. About 10 to 12 minutes walk back into the centre. Quieter than the riverside lot, often has space when others are full.
Three Italian payment apps work for the zona blu, plus standard coin meters.
EasyPark covers all Treviso zona blu zones. Register card details once, then start and stop sessions on your phone. Service fee around 15 percent of ticket value. Particularly useful if your trip continues to Venice, Padova, Vicenza or other Veneto cities.
The native Italian app, accepted across the Veneto region. Slightly cheaper service fees than EasyPark. Bonus: you can also buy bus tickets in the same app — useful if you use the LAM bus from Treviso airport to the city centre.
The Italian motorway operator's parking app — covers Treviso zona blu and several private lots. Useful if you already use Telepass for autostrada tolls and want one app.
Standard parchimetri accept coins (EUR 0.05 to EUR 2) and contactless cards. Print the receipt and place it visibly on the dashboard. The lunch break (13:00 to 15:00) is free in most zones — read the sign on the meter to confirm.

Treviso's beating heart, with the Palazzo dei Trecento and Caffe Nazionale. ZTL applies. Park at Pellicciai (4 minutes' walk), Sant'Andrea (4 minutes), or Foro Boario (7 minutes). The Piazza is the centre of the evening passeggiata — visit after 18:30 for the local rhythm.
The picturesque canal with watermills and overhanging buildings. Inside the ZTL but the streets here are too narrow for cars even when residents drive. Park at Foro Boario (5 minutes) or Lungo Sile riverside (6 minutes). Best photographed at dusk.
Historic centre block. ZTL applies. Pellicciai is the closest paid lot (3 minutes), Sant'Andrea four minutes. The Cathedral and Loggia sit on opposite ends of Calmaggiore — Treviso's pedestrian shopping street.
The 16th-century walls ring the historic centre. White-line free parking sits at multiple gates, but be careful — many spots are pink (residents-only). Park at Foro Boario for guaranteed legal free parking and walk along the walls; the perimeter is just under 3 km.
The railway station district. Multi-storey at Treviso Centrale handles trip stopovers. Walk to the centre via Via Roma in 11 minutes through Porta Altinia. Hotels south of the centre often include parking permits — ask before booking.
Treviso added Telepass support to Pellicciai and Park & Ride Dal Negro in February 2026 — useful for rentals already fitted with the toll device. Sant'Andrea rates rose roughly 4 percent in January. The Tiramisu World Cup festival (3-9 November 2026) closes additional centre streets and floods every perimeter lot — book Pellicciai on Parclick at least three weeks in advance for that week. The new ZTL gates installed in late 2025 at Porta Cavour are now fully operational, increasing the chance of catching incidental drive-throughs.
Foro Boario is the largest free option, around 200 spaces on Viale IV Novembre, 5 to 7 minutes' walk via Porta Santi Quaranta to Piazza dei Signori. Lungo Sile riverside has 60 to 80 free spaces on the east side. Both are open 24/7 with no time limit. Foro Boario fills on Saturday morning during the weekly market — arrive before 09:00 or use Park & Ride Dal Negro instead.
Not as a non-resident. The ZTL Centro Storico is camera-enforced 24/7 with EUR 80 to 300 fines. Multiple gates — Porta Santi Quaranta, Porta San Tomaso, Porta Altinia, Porta Cavour — all triggered by automatic plate-recognition. The only exception is hotel guests whose plate is pre-registered with the Comune by their hotel for a 90-minute access window. Park at any perimeter lot and walk in.
Around EUR 5 to EUR 14 per day. Park & Ride Dal Negro at EUR 5 per day with bus shuttle is the smartest value. Sant'Andrea or Pellicciai indoor at EUR 14 per day if you want zero walking. Foro Boario is free if you accept the 7-minute walk and arrive before Saturday market crowds. Reserved Pellicciai on Parclick drops to EUR 9-11 per day.
The ATVO ACTV LAM bus connects TSF airport to Piazzale Duca d'Aosta (next to Treviso Centrale railway station) every 30 minutes during the day, EUR 5 single, journey 22 minutes. From there walk to the centre in 11 minutes via Via Roma. Taxis are around EUR 25 to 30. If you have a rental car, drive directly to Park & Ride Dal Negro and use the bus into the centre.
EasyPark, MyCicero / MooneyGo and Telpass all work in Treviso's zona blu. EasyPark is best if you continue to other Italian or European cities. MyCicero / MooneyGo has slightly cheaper service fees and lets you also buy bus and train tickets. Pellicciai and Park & Ride Dal Negro now also accept Telepass for ticketless entry.
Yes — the festival (3-9 November 2026) closes additional centre streets and brings overflow crowds. All perimeter lots fill from Friday afternoon. Foro Boario typically full by 10:00; Dal Negro by midday. Reserve Pellicciai on Parclick at least three weeks before, or stay at a hotel south of Treviso and use Treviso Centrale station with the train into the centre. Check trevisoexpress.com for shuttle schedules during the festival.
