Parking at Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) costs €28 a day in the official P3 car park and €125 for a week if you drive up; booked in advance, a week cost €109 in P6, and private car parks with a free shuttle started at €43 a week. Dropping off or picking up is free for 20 minutes in Sosta Breve. This guide sets the airport’s official tariff beside real booking prices for 1, 3, 7 and 14 days, checked on 13 October 2026.
Do you need a car at all? Not for Venice itself, which has no roads. Marco Polo (VCE) is on the mainland at Tessera and has a single terminal. The airport company runs all the car parks on the site, about 6,000 spaces of which 2,000 are covered. P1, P2, P3, P4 and P4S take cars that simply drive up and have a published tariff. P5, P6, P8 and the covered Il Milione can be used only with a booking. Sosta Breve, in front of the terminal, is the car park for dropping off and picking up.
Outside the airport, private car parks along Via Triestina keep your car and take you to the terminal by free shuttle. They are the cheapest option for a week or more. This guide gives the airport’s official drive-up tariff first and then real booking prices for the same dates, so that you can compare like with like.

These are the prices you pay at the machine if you arrive without a booking. The cheapest is P3 at €28 a day, capped at €125 for up to seven days. The covered P1 costs €35 for every 24 hours.

A booking is usually cheaper than driving up for anything from two days upwards, and it is the only way into P5 and P6. The cheapest official car park for a week was P6 at €109, and for two weeks P6 at €161, about €100 less than the drive-up price in P3. The prices below are real quotes taken from Parclick on 13 October 2026 for a car, for stays starting on 6 or 7 November 2026. Other dates can cost more or less.

Parclick adds a service fee of €3.99 or €4.99 to each of these bookings. Bookings for the official car parks cannot be changed, and can be cancelled up to 24 hours before arrival. Note the two cases where booking did not pay: a single day in P3 costs €28 at the machine against €29 plus the fee, and a week in P4 costs €140 at the machine against €165. The airport also sells bookings on its own website; we did not take quotes there, so compare before you pay.
One day: drive up to P3 (€28). A long weekend: book P3, P6 or P4S (€55 for three days). A week: book P6 (€109) or P3 (€123), or drive up to P3 (€125). Two weeks: book P6 (€161). If you want the car under cover, P1 at €35 a day is cheaper than Il Milione for anything longer than a day. If the price matters more than walking to the terminal, a private car park with a shuttle costs less than half as much for a week.
Three private car parks near the airport could be booked on Parclick for the dates we checked. At all three you leave your keys with the staff, the shuttle is free, and on the way back you phone the car park to be collected.

Via Triestina 80, open 24 hours a day. The free shuttle takes about five minutes and leaves every five minutes according to the listing. Vehicles up to 3 m high are accepted. You can change or cancel free of charge until 23:59 on the day before arrival. See VCE Park on Parclick.
Via Triestina 216, open 24 hours with a shuttle that runs around the clock, takes about three minutes and carries up to eight people. Height limit 2 m. Changes and cancellation are free up to one hour before arrival. See MarcoPolo on Parclick.
Via Ca’ Zuliani 10, open 24 hours, four minutes from the terminal by shuttle. After booking you have to phone the car park to reserve seats on the shuttle. Changes and cancellation are free up to one hour before arrival. See San Marco Aeroporto on Parclick.
Parclick’s service fee on these bookings was €1.37 to €4.99. Avioparking and Fly Parking are also listed for the airport, but had no open-air space on sale for our dates.

There is no free long-stay parking at the airport, and we found no official free car park nearby. For collecting someone, Sosta Breve is enough: an hour there costs €4.

The Aerobus ticket is valid for 75 minutes and lets you change onto other mainland buses and the tram. An Alilaguna ticket includes one large bag and one piece of hand luggage; each extra bag costs €4 and children under six travel free. ATVO also runs express buses to Piazzale Roma and to Mestre railway station, from stops 3 and 4 outside exit D of the arrivals hall; its website does not show the fare, so we do not quote one.
If you are driving to Venice rather than flying, do not park at the airport: use a car park in Mestre and take the train (€1.50, about 10 minutes to Venezia Santa Lucia) or go as far as Tronchetto or Piazzale Roma. Our guides to parking in Mestre and parking in Venice have the tariffs.

For a week, the private VCE Park at €43 and MarcoPolo at €45, both with a free shuttle. The cheapest official car park for a week was P6 at €109 with a booking. For a single day, P3 at €28 without a booking.
Only for a short stop: 20 minutes in Sosta Breve and 10 minutes in P1, P2, P3, P4 and P4S, up to three entries a day. Disabled people have reserved free spaces. There is no free long-stay car park.
Nothing for the first 20 minutes in Sosta Breve. After that it is €4 for the next 40 minutes and €6 for each further hour.
Not for P1, P2, P3, P4 or P4S, which accept cars that drive up. P5, P6, P8 and Il Milione are for booked cars only. For three days or more a booking was cheaper in most car parks we compared.
On Parclick, the official car parks can be cancelled up to 24 hours before arrival but not changed. VCE Park can be changed or cancelled until 23:59 the day before; MarcoPolo and San Marco Aeroporto up to one hour before arrival.
By ACTV Aerobus to Piazzale Roma for €10 single or €18 return, or by Alilaguna boat for €18 single or €32 return. ATVO express buses also run to Piazzale Roma and Mestre station.
Yes: P1, linked to the terminal by lift and covered walkway, at €35 per 24 hours, and Park Il Milione, which must be booked. Both have a height limit of 2.10 m.
