Cascais on-street parking is colour-coded (blue zone = paid, red axis = no parking, yellow = no stopping), tariffed Mon–Sat 09:00–19:00 and FREE on Sundays and public holidays. Hourly rate on blue lines is €0.80–€1.60 (~$0.87–$1.74) depending on street, with a 2–4 hour cap. The municipal Parque Marechal Carmona costs only €5/day (~$5.45) and is open 24h – the cheapest gated option next to the centre. Pay via the MobiCascais app or paySimplex, or coins/contactless at on-street meters. Cabo da Roca has a free car park (ignore anyone asking for cash – it is a known scam) and Guincho beach charges around €2/day at its two lots.
Cascais operates a colour-coded on-street system under MobiCascais (Regulation 1204/2023 in Diario da Republica). Zones tell you whether you can park at all, and at what rate.
