Redpark Valet at Rossio station costs €54 for one or two days and €12 for each extra day (€114 for a week) when booked on Parclick. You call 15 minutes ahead, hand the keys to a driver at the Teatro D. Maria II between 9:00 and 19:00, and get the car back at the same spot. This guide explains how the service works, what it does not include, and four cheaper or more flexible car parks within walking distance.

Redpark Valet – Estação do Rossio is a valet service, not a car park you drive into. You hand your car to a driver at Praça Dom Pedro IV (Rossio square), beside the railway station, and it is taken to an indoor, supervised garage. You get it back at the same point. It is sold through Parclick; Redpark’s own website now advertises only its airport valet services in Lisbon, Porto and Faro.

Prices are the online prices shown on Parclick on the day we checked, before the booking fee. Redpark charges the same €54 for one or two days and €12 for each extra day, so it is expensive for a single day and competitive for a week.
Hand-over and return are possible every day between 9:00 and 19:00 only, and the booking covers a single entry and exit: you cannot use the car during the stay. Optional extras are charged separately (shuttle €10, exterior or interior wash €13, full wash €25).
The valet suits travellers staying several days in the Baixa or Chiado who do not want to drive into narrow streets or an underground ramp, and who will not need the car until they leave. If you want to come and go, need the car before 9:00 or after 19:00, or are staying only one night, a self-park is the better choice.
Covered car park in the Bairro Alto, about 450 m from Rossio in a straight line (uphill). Open 24 hours, maximum height 2.10 m. It sits in a residents-only access area: call the number on your booking before you arrive so that the barrier is opened.
Underground car park under the City Hall square, about 650 m from Rossio and close to Praça do Comércio. Open 24 hours, maximum height 2.10 m, with a card that lets you go in and out.
Under Praça dos Restauradores, the next square north of Rossio. Open 24 hours, maximum height 2.00 m, with electric charging. Not on Parclick; these are the operator’s walk-in rates.

Street parking in Lisbon is run by EMEL in four colour-coded tariffs. Since 4 August 2026 the rates are €0.85 per hour (green) and €1.25 (yellow), with a four-hour maximum, and €1.70 (red) and €2.10 (brown), with a two-hour maximum. The new prices are being rolled out in stages, so some meters may still show the old ones. In the Baixa, bays are few and short-stay only, so the street is not a realistic option for an overnight visit. The Baixa is also part of the city’s reduced-emission zone, which restricts older vehicles on working days: check the current rules if your car dates from before 2000.

The driver inspects the car, takes the keys and parks it in an indoor garage. To collect it, you call again and the car is returned to the same point.
Cars are handed over and returned between 9:00 and 19:00, every day of the week. Outside those hours you cannot drop off or collect the car.
No. The booking covers a single entry and exit. If you need to come and go, choose a self-park such as SABA Praça do Município, which gives you a multi-entry card.
The listing describes an indoor place supervised 24 hours a day, but the address of the garage is not published.
Redpark’s own website currently sells only its airport valet services in Lisbon, Porto and Faro. The Rossio station valet is booked through Parclick.
For one day, The Lumiares at €25 (online) or the municipal EMEL car park Chão do Loureiro, capped at €20 per day. For a week, Redpark Valet at €114 is cheaper than both.
Telpark Restauradores, under the next square to the north, is the closest. It is open 24 hours, costs €3.30 for the first hour and has a daily maximum of €29.90. The height limit is 2.00 m.
Only for short stops. EMEL street parking costs between €0.85 and €2.10 per hour depending on the zone, with a maximum stay of two to four hours, and there are very few bays in the Baixa.
No. The Baixa, Chiado and Alfama are best seen on foot, by metro and by tram. A car is useful for Sintra, the Arrábida coast or the Alentejo.
