During the purchasing process, select the date you plan to arrive. After making the online payment you will receive a voucher via email with you reservation code.
On the date of your reservation, enter the parking lot as usual, take a ticket at the entrance and park in any empty spot.
Once you’re out of the car, approach the control booth with the Parclick voucher and the ticket you took. Our staff there will check your reservation using the reservation code, and will give you a card that will allow you multiple ins and outs.
SABA Praça do Município is a covered, 24-hour car park under Lisbon’s City Hall square, about 230 m from Praça do Comércio. On 1 November 2026 SABA charged from €2.60 for the first hour and sold a full-day Multidia pass for €27.40. The height limit is 2.1 m, and Baixa-Chiado metro station is a few minutes’ walk away.
Do you need a car in Lisbon? Not for the Baixa, Chiado or Alfama: they are best on foot, by tram or by metro, and street parking is metered and scarce. A car pays off for Sintra, Cascais, Arrábida or the Alentejo. SABA does not publish the number of spaces; the live counter on its site showed 146 free spaces when we checked, which is availability, not capacity. Distances in this guide are straight-line from the square, measured on OpenStreetMap.

The Multidia is SABA’s prepaid pass: you buy it online on saba.pt or in the SABA app before your stay starts, it is valid only in this car park, it allows unlimited entries and exits, and it cannot be extended. SABA does not show the price of later hours online, so for anything longer than two or three hours the Multidia or a Parclick booking is the safer way to know the cost in advance.
Parclick sells a Basic pass (one entry and one exit), an Unlimited pass and a Multiparking pass. The car park scores 4.3 from 155 opinions on Parclick; recent reviewers mention helpful staff and a garage that is less tight than most in central Lisbon.
You come up on the square in front of City Hall. The Arco da Rua Augusta is about 200 m away and Praça do Comércio about 230 m. Rossio is about 670 m up the Baixa grid, the Sé Cathedral about 580 m east, and Cais do Sodré and the Time Out Market about 600–700 m west along the river.

Parclick prices are the lowest “from” prices on its Lisbon list on 1 November 2026. EMEL car park tariffs were read on emel.pt on 18 October 2026; the EMEL site was under maintenance on 1 November 2026, so check the sign at the entrance.
Street parking in Lisbon is run by EMEL. The colour of the meter sets the price, and new tariffs have applied since 4 August 2026, introduced in phases, so some meters and apps may still charge the old rate.

You pay at the meter or with apps such as ePark, Via Verde Estacionar, Telpark or EasyPark. In the Baixa, free spaces are rare and the time limits are short, so for a day of sightseeing the garage is the practical choice. We found no confirmed free parking near Praça do Município.
