Brindisi is Puglia’s Adriatic ferry port for Greece and the airport gateway to Salento. Since 2025 street parking has three colour zones (red €1.50, blue €1.00 and green €0.50 per hour), there is a free park & ride on Via Spalato, and the airport car parks start at €15 per day. Since 1 January 2025 Brindisi has a new parking plan (Piano della Sosta) with three paid colour zones, run by the council-owned company Brindisi Multiservizi. The historic centre also has restricted-access streets (ZTL) reserved for residents and deliveries, plus an extra evening ZTL around Christmas.

All paid zones are free on public holidays (check the meter for Sundays). There is no lunch break – red and blue bays are paid right through to midnight. A small number of short-stay disc bays near Corso Garibaldi and Corso Roma allow only 30 minutes. Hybrid and fully electric cars are exempt from paying.
The best choice depends on whether you are visiting the town, catching a ferry to Greece or flying.

Car park and covered underground garage at the Costa Morena passenger terminal, used by Grimaldi Lines to Igoumenitsa, Patras and (in summer) Corfu. Bookable on Parclick; cheaper private lots nearby also offer shuttles.

Car park at the entrance of the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, north of Brindisi. In summer a shuttle runs to Punta Penna Grossa and the beaches; private cars cannot enter the reserve.
For a day in town, the free Via Spalato park & ride or a green bay (€0.50/h) is cheapest. For a ferry trip, book the terminal garage or a private lot with shuttle in advance. At the airport, P9 (€15/24 h) beats P1 for longer stays.

Use the Via Spalato park & ride or a blue/green bay on the edge of the centre, and walk in – the core streets are restricted.
Grimaldi Lines sails to Igoumenitsa daily, to Patras and, in summer, to Corfu. Foot passengers can leave the car at the terminal garage or a private lot with shuttle; book ahead in summer.
The Aeroporto del Salento is about 6 km north of the centre. P1 is closest to the terminal; P9 is cheaper. Off-airport lots with shuttles start at around €2.50 per day.
Park at the reserve entrance (€8 per day in summer) and take the shuttle to the beaches.
Regional trains reach Lecce in about 26–30 minutes from around €4 – an easy alternative to driving and parking in Lecce.
