Lamezia Terme is Calabria’s main gateway – home to the region’s busiest airport (SUF) and the starting point for Tropea and Capo Vaticano. At the airport, P1 costs €20 and P2 €15 per 24 hours, Kiss & Fly is free for 20 minutes, and since February 2026 you can no longer stop in front of the terminal. In town, blue lines cost just €0.80 per hour. This guide covers airport parking, the new terminal ZTL, town parking and free options nearby.
Tip: if you also need car rental in Italy, our guide compares the operators and typical rates – and a smaller car makes these parking zones far less stressful.
Lamezia Terme is made up of three former towns – Nicastro (the main centre), Sambiase and Sant’Eufemia, where the airport and Lamezia Terme Centrale station are. For most visitors, parking means the airport; in town, blue lines are cheap and easy.

For a pick-up: Kiss & Fly. For up to a day: P1. For a week: P2 (€60) or a private shuttle car park, which is usually cheaper for longer trips.

Along the coast towards Gizzeria there is roadside and beach parking; in summer, beach clubs (lidi) often charge for their own car parks.
Town blue lines can be paid at meters or with the ParkingMyCar app (since February 2026). At the airport, pay at the automatic cashiers before returning to the car; number-plate recognition opens the barrier.
