Do you need a car? For Valencia city, hardly: metro lines 3 and 5 run from the terminal to the centre. A car pays off for the Albufera, the Costa Blanca beaches or inland wine country, and the rental desks are at the airport: compare car rental at Valencia Airport (VLC) on DiscoverCars, or read our Spain car hire guide first.
Manises is a town just west of Valencia, and most drivers who search for parking here are flying from Valencia Airport (VLC), which stands on the edge of the town. The airport operator Aena runs three car parks next to the terminal: the General P1 (1,746 spaces), the Long Stay car park (638 spaces, booking only) and the Express car park for quick pick-ups. Private shuttle car parks nearby can be booked on Parclick. This page compares them.

A minute from the terminal and, according to Aena, ideal for stays of up to 4 days and for picking up or dropping off passengers. 1,746 spaces, open 24 hours, CCTV, electric vehicle chargers and a height limit of 2.30 m. No booking is needed: take a ticket and pay at the machines or at the staffed counter. Book the P1 on Parclick.
The cheaper Aena option for holidays: 638 spaces, open 24 hours, a five-minute walk from the terminal. You can only enter with a prior booking; without one, use the P1. Book at least 3 hours before you arrive. Book the Long Stay on Parclick.
Opposite the terminal in the arrivals area, for meeting passengers. The first 10 minutes are free; after that you pay for the whole time from when you entered. The maximum stay is 2 hours: after that Aena charges the maximum daily amount and the car may be towed.
Members of the free Aena Customer Club get 5% to 25% off booked stays and 5% to 20% off unbooked stays in the general car parks.
Private car parks outside the airport perimeter take you to the terminal by shuttle. Parclick lists these for Manises; the price appears once you enter your dates:
For trips of a week or more compare their quote with the Aena Long Stay price for the same dates, and check the shuttle times against your flight.
Metrovalencia lines 3 and 5 stop on the ground floor of the terminal. Line 3 (Aeroport–Rafelbunyol) leaves the airport from 5:27 to 22:32 Monday to Thursday and until 23:27 on Fridays; line 5 (Marítim–Aeroport) runs to the city centre and the port. Trains run every 15 minutes on working days and about every 20 minutes at weekends, so parking in Valencia and taking the metro is a real alternative.
If you are visiting the town itself, we could not find an official paid-parking tariff or list of public car parks on the municipality’s website today, so we do not name individual car parks here. Check the street signs for time limits on the spot. For the city of Valencia, see our Valencia parking guide (ORA blue zone, municipal car parks).
