Street parking in central Dénia costs €0.60 an hour in 2026 (1 cent per minute), with a two-hour maximum of €1.20. The blue zone (zona azul) runs all year on working days: from October to May Monday–Friday 9:30–13:30 and 16:30–20:00, from June to September Monday–Friday 9:30–13:30 and 17:00–20:30, and Saturday mornings 9:30–13:30. Middays, evenings, Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays are free.

The timetable is set in Dénia’s municipal traffic ordinance (Ordenanza municipal de tráfico, article 40). The price of 1 cent per minute was kept unchanged in the new blue-zone management contract the council put out to tender in autumn 2026 (Dénia.com, 2 October 2026). Unlike many Costa Blanca towns, Dénia does not switch the blue zone off in winter: only the afternoon hours move.

The bays have sensors, and electronic signs at Patricio Ferrándiz, La Mar and Ronda de les Muralles show how many spaces are free. Thirteen ticket machines take coins and contactless cards. Outside these streets, parking in Dénia is free unless signs say otherwise.
For stays longer than two hours, or while you are on a ferry, use a car park. Parclick lists one bookable car park in Dénia: La Vía, a covered car park at Calle Patricio Ferrándiz 77, a few streets from the port, aimed at ferry passengers who leave the car for several days. Parclick showed it “from €24” on 24 October 2026; the exact price depends on your dates, so check it for your stay (all Dénia car parks on Parclick).
Baleària sails from Dénia port to the Balearics and offers parking at the port that you can add when you book the crossing. Its current Dénia parking prices could not be loaded on the day we checked, so we do not quote them; ask Baleària when booking. For a multi-day trip, compare the port parking with the La Vía car park above, which you can book in advance.
Do you need a car in Dénia? Not for the town itself: the port, the castle and Marqués de Campo are within walking distance. A car pays off for the Montgó, Xàbia, the Les Rotes and Les Marines beaches and inland villages. Up to 30 minutes over, you can buy a post-paid excess ticket within the maximum stay. If you get a ticket for exceeding the maximum, the ordinance lets you cancel it straight away by paying €3 at the machine.
Not in the blue zone, which is limited to two hours. Use the port parking offered by Baleària when you book the crossing, or the covered La Vía car park on Calle Patricio Ferrándiz, bookable on Parclick.
