San Vicente del Raspeig is really two parking problems: a small-town centre with a modest blue zone (9:00–14:00 & 16:00–20:00 weekdays), and the University of Alicante — whose campus has its own internal lots plus a new free public lot by the sports pavilion near the Facultad de Educación. Term-time mornings decide everything. The 2026 guide.

| Option | Notes | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Centre blue zone | Mon–Fri 9–14 & 16–20; modest rates | Errands, market |
| UA campus lots | Multiple internal parkings (Politécnica side etc.) | Campus business |
| New pavilion lot | Free public parking near Facultad de Educación | Students & visitors |
| Free streets | Residential grid beyond the core | All-day stays |
UA's internal lots fill in waves with the lecture timetable — 8:45 is carnage, 10:30 is fine. The free pavilion lot gives a reliable fallback on the San Vicente side, and the tram (Line 2 to Alicante) means you can also park here and ride into the city instead of fighting Alicante's own meters.
The campus's internal lots are free but timetable-crowded; the new public lot by the sports pavilion near the Facultad de Educación is the dependable free option.
Weekdays 9–14 and 16–20 in the small centre zone — lunch, evenings and weekends free.
Park free in San Vicente and ride tram Line 2 — faster than parking in the city and immune to its restrictions.
Mid-morning (10:30+) and afternoons; avoid the 8:30–9:15 lecture surge entirely.
No — outside the small blue core, the residential grid is free and forgiving.
