Pinto has no paid blue zone that we could find on any official source, and no car park you can book online: most visitors use the 115-space car park at the Cercanías station (line C-3) or park on the street where signs allow. The nearest bookable car parks are in Getafe, 13 km north, from €5 for 1 hour. This guide covers where to park, Pinto’s draft low-emission zone, driving on into Madrid and car hire at Madrid Airport, 39 km away.
Driving in? Still choosing a car? Our Spain car hire guide compares the local desks and prices – pick the car first, then park it cheaply with the tips below.
Do you need a car? For Pinto itself, not really: the C-3 Cercanías train links it with central Madrid. A car pays off for Aranjuez, Toledo or the industrial estates around the A-4. Madrid Airport is about 39 km away: compare car rental at Madrid Airport on DiscoverCars, or read our Spain car hire guide.
Pinto is a commuter town of the Madrid region, 24 km south of Puerta del Sol on the A-4. It is not a place where parking is sold: we found no paid blue zone on any official Pinto source, Parclick has no bookable car park in the town, and the Cercanías station has its own car park. What does change in 2026 is access: Pinto has drafted a low-emission zone (ZBE) for the historic centre, still waiting for final approval.

Pinto Cercanías station. Renfe lists a car park with 115 spaces and 6 spaces for drivers with reduced mobility at Pinto station, on line C-3 (fare zone B2), beside Calle Ferrocarril and Parque de Éboli. Renfe does not publish a price for it, so check the signs at the entrance. It is the natural place to leave the car if you continue into Madrid by train.
Town centre. The old centre around Plaza de la Constitución has narrow streets and few spaces; residents and shopkeepers have complained about the shortage for years. We found no blue-zone (ORA) tariff, ticket machine rules or operator for Pinto on an official source, and the town hall portal could not be reached on 30 October 2026. So we do not quote any price: if a street has a meter or a time-limit sign, that sign applies.
New car park planned. In June 2026 the local government approved a special plan for an underground car park with about 200 spaces under Parque del Egido, in the centre. No construction dates or prices have been published, so do not count on it for a 2026 visit.
Parclick shows no car park you can book inside Pinto. The closest bookable car parks are in Getafe, about 13 km (around 15 minutes) north on the A-4:

On 15 April 2026 the regional gazette (BOCM no. 88) published Pinto’s notice putting its ZBE project out to public consultation for 30 days. The project is not yet in force: as of 30 October 2026 it was still waiting for final approval.
| Planned rule (draft) | Detail |
|---|---|
| Area | The historic centre and some streets of the northern neighbourhoods |
| Hours | Monday to Friday, 7:00–20:00 (weekends not affected) |
| Control | Number-plate cameras at the entrances |
| First phase (planned for 2026) | Cars without a DGT environmental label that are not registered in Pinto may not enter |
| Visitors | Non-residents travelling to or from Pinto and staying more than 30 minutes may enter |
| Later phases | B-label cars from 2027; tighter rules up to 2030 |
Draft rules as summarised by the Spanish motoring club RACE from the published project. The final ordinance can change them. Foreign cars have no Spanish label; until the ordinance is approved there is nothing to register, but watch for ZBE signs at the edge of the centre.
If you drive into Madrid, two different sets of rules apply. The city’s regulated street parking (SER) starts at €1.10 an hour in blue bays (base rate, maximum 4 hours), is charged Monday to Friday 9:00–21:00 and Saturday 9:00–15:00, and is free on Sundays and public holidays. Foreign-registered cars pay the base rate. The Madrid low-emission zone also applies to foreign vehicles. For most visitors it is easier to park at Pinto station and take the C-3 train. Details in our Madrid parking guide.
