Parking in Marbella is cheaper than its reputation – if you know the zones. Blue zones cost about €0.72 per hour (max 2 hours), green zones allow visitors up to 5 hours, and both are free on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and holidays. Street parking in Marbella is regulated by the town council’s ORA system with blue and green zones, in Marbella town, San Pedro Alcántara and Puerto Banús. There is no camera-controlled traffic zone, but much of the Casco Antiguo (Old Town) is pedestrian, so plan to park around its edge.

Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays are free in the blue and green zones. Pay at the meter (the tourist office notes the meters take cash) or with the EasyPark app.
For the Old Town and the beach, an underground car park is far less stressful than hunting for a 2-hour blue bay.

Summer temperatures in Marbella often reach 30 °C or more. If you leave the car for a whole day, an underground car park keeps the interior far cooler than a sunny street bay.
Free parking exists, but mostly outside the paid hours or away from the centre.
Blue and green zones are free from Saturday 14:00 until Monday morning, on public holidays and Monday to Friday between 14:00 and 16:30.
Residential streets further from the seafront have free white-line bays. Expect a 10–20 minute walk to the Old Town.
Towards Cabopino and the Artola dunes (about 12 km east) parking is generally free, but it fills quickly on summer weekends – arrive before 11:00.

Use Indigo Av. del Mar or Parkia Plaza de la Victoria and walk in – the Old Town lanes are narrow and largely pedestrian.
Indigo Av. del Mar is a two-minute walk from the promenade. Street bays nearby are blue zone (max 2 hours).
The Saba car park at Plaza Antonio Banderas is the main public option. It is expensive in summer, so a short visit or an evening outside peak hours is the cheapest way to see the marina by car.
San Pedro has its own ORA blue and green zones with the same rules as Marbella town.
