Rebuilt from the Parclick listing, the town’s 2026 ORA tender and the Cueva del Tesoro official page: real car park price and details, cave hours and prices; removed Google star scores, invented usage figures and unverifiable free lots.

Do you need a car? Not for Rincón itself: the town is built along a flat seafront promenade. A car pays off for Nerja and Frigiliana, the Axarquía villages or trips inland. The nearest airport is Málaga: compare car rental at Málaga Airport on DiscoverCars. See also our car hire in Málaga guide.

How Parking Works in Rincón de la Victoria in 2026

Rincón de la Victoria is a beach town about 18 km east of Málaga. The only car park you can book online is the covered Rincón de la Victoria PARKIA car park under Plaza de la Constitución, next to the seafront, from €2.28 an hour on Parclick. Some streets are regulated (ORA): in May 2026 the town council put a new ten-year contract to run this paid street parking out to tender. The council does not publish the street tariff or the list of paid streets online, so check the sign and the meter before you leave the car.

Where to Park in the Centre

For the beach, the promenade and the town hall, the easiest choice is the underground car park below Plaza de la Constitución. There is no ticket: the barrier reads your number plate on the way in and out, and an intercom calls remote assistance if the plate is not recognised.

Street Parking: the ORA Zone

Rincón de la Victoria has regulated on-street parking (estacionamiento regulado, ORA). In May 2026 the town council published a tender for a ten-year concession to manage it, so operator, streets and prices may change once the new contract starts. We found no official tariff, no list of streets and no summer timetable online, so we do not quote a price. Look for the blue road markings and the sign next to the meter, which give the hours and the maximum stay.

Is There Free Parking in Rincón de la Victoria?

Yes. Streets without blue markings or meter signs are free, and they are easier to find a few blocks back from the seafront. The town council does not publish a list of free car parks, so we do not name any here. In summer the seafront fills up early, so arrive before about 10:00 or use the covered car park. Temporary signs for markets or events also apply, so read them before you leave the car.

Parking at the Cueva del Tesoro

The Cueva del Tesoro (Treasure Cave), which the town describes as one of only three known marine caves in the world, is in La Cala del Moral, about 2 km west of the centre. The town’s tourism office lists parking among the cave’s visitor services, but does not give a price. Booking is compulsory. From 1 October to 30 April visits run from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 17:00; from 1 May to 30 September from 10:30 to 13:00 and 16:30 to 19:00. Entry costs €4.65 for adults and €2.75 for children aged 4 to 14, over-65s and students. The first slot on weekdays is free if you book it in advance.

Getting There from Málaga

Rincón de la Victoria is about 18 km (around 20 minutes) from central Málaga and about 35 km (around 40 minutes) from Málaga Airport along the A-7. Nerja is about 40 km further east. If you are staying in Málaga, our Málaga parking guide covers the city’s blue zone and garages.
