The closest car park to the Leaning Tower is Via Cammeo, about 50 metres from Piazza dei Miracoli, at €3.50 per hour; the Via Pietrasantina park-and-ride, roughly 1 km to the north, is free for cars. Street bays nearby cost €0.75 to €1.60 per hour on working days and nothing on Sundays. The bus from Pietrasantina is not free: a ticket costs €2.00. The Leaning Tower stands in Piazza dei Miracoli, at the north-western corner of the walled old town. The old town is a limited-traffic zone (ZTL) with cameras at the entrances, but the square sits right at its edge, so you can park legally within a few minutes’ walk. Parking is run by PisaMo, the city’s mobility company: two barrier-controlled car parks, a handful of open parking areas and blue-line street bays in two zones, A and B.

The interchange car park on Via Pietrasantina is the one the road signs send visitors to. The city’s tourism site lists it as a free car park, and PisaMo publishes no tariff for cars there. It is charged only for tourist coaches, which must check in at the PisaMo desk (open 08:30–19:30 every day) and pay a day permit that starts at €160 in low season.
The Tower is roughly 1 km away, about 15 minutes on foot. If you would rather ride, two Autolinee Toscane bus lines stop at “Park Pietrasantina” and at “Torre di Pisa”: line 1+ all year, and shuttle line 25, which the city lists as running from 1 April to 31 October between 10:00 and 19:15, every 15 minutes, and continuing along the river to Lungarno Gambacorti. The bus is not included in anything: a single urban ticket costs €2.00, or €18.20 for ten journeys.
PisaMo car park at Via Cammeo 51, about 50 metres from Piazza dei Miracoli. PisaMo lists it as open 24 hours every day; the city tourism page still shows 06:30–23:30, so check the sign if you plan a late return. Cars only: camper vans, vans and coaches are not admitted. Pay at the staffed desk or the machine.
Smaller PisaMo car park north of the square, open around the clock at the same tariff. Monthly pass €150.
Parking area north-east of the walls. It opens at 08:00 on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and all day for special markets; the street’s own blue bays are zone B, paid 08:00–14:00.
Covered car park under Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, next to Pisa Centrale station. It is on the opposite side of the old town from the Tower, so it suits a full day in the city rather than a quick Tower stop. See the Parclick listing.
Three hours at Via Cammeo cost €10.50. The same three hours in a zone A2 bay cost €4.80, in zone A1 or B €2.25, and at Via Pietrasantina nothing. On Sundays and public holidays all blue bays are free.
Blue bays are charged on working days only, Monday to Saturday. The tariff depends on the zone printed on the meter.

Meters take coins and, where enabled, debit cards. PisaMo also accepts Telepass, EasyPark, MyCicero, A-Tono, Sunhill and its own ApPisaMobilità app. The lower price shown on the meter is for residents only.
Do not follow the sat-nav to “Leaning Tower”. The old-town streets beyond the square are inside the ZTL, where only vehicles with a registered number plate may enter. Cameras read every plate, and each unauthorised entry is fined separately; with a rental car the notice arrives weeks later through the rental company. Navigate to “Via Cammeo” or “Via Pietrasantina” instead: both are reached from the SS1 Aurelia without crossing the zone.
Via Cammeo does not admit camper vans. PisaMo’s camper area is in Via Pratale, with a shuttle bus stop 50 metres away: 24 hours with water and waste service cost €15 from 1 October to 30 April and €18 from 1 May to 30 September, for a maximum stay of three days. Tourist coaches must drive to the Via Pietrasantina check point first; they are not allowed on other streets of the city.
