Street parking in Sitges costs €1.35 for 62 minutes and €3.70 for three hours in the blue zone; visitors pay €3.70 for just 90 minutes in the green zone, and in most of the town the meters also run on Sundays and public holidays. The cheapest all-day option is the municipal Can Robert car park at €3.60 on weekdays, and the council lists one free park-and-walk car park. This guide covers the official 2026 tariffs, the paid hours area by area, the car parks and where parking is free.
Do you need a car? Not for Sitges itself. For the Garraf coast, the Penedès vineyards or Tarragona you do: compare prices at Barcelona Airport on DiscoverCars, 30 km away, and read our guide to car rental in Barcelona before you book.
Regulated street parking in Sitges belongs to the town council (Ajuntament de Sitges) and comes in two colours. Blue bays are open to everyone at the standard tariff. Green bays are free for vehicles registered as resident in Sitges, while visitors pay roughly double the blue rate and may stay 90 minutes at most. You pay at the meter with coins or a card, or with the Blinkay app. Around the centre there is also a ring of private car parks, one free park-and-walk car park and one cheap municipal one at Can Robert.

This is where Sitges differs from most Spanish towns: in nearly every area the paid hours apply from Monday to Sunday, public holidays included. Only Poble Sec and Pins Vens are free on Sundays and holidays.

Outside these hours the bays are free: the midday break, the evening and the night. In Terramar that also means ordinary weekdays outside the listed periods, and in Garraf and Les Botigues the whole stretch from October to April. The sign on the street always takes precedence.
The council’s advice for drivers is simple: do not cross the centre unless you have to, and reach the beaches along the extension of Camí dels Capellans, which is the quickest way to the seafront and to the car parks. Two illuminated signs, on Camí dels Capellans and on Passeig de Vilafranca, show in real time how many spaces are free at Can Robert and at Sínia Morera-Oasis.
Municipal park-and-walk car park on Avinguda del Camí dels Capellans, with 386 spaces monitored by sensors. From Monday to Friday the special tariff applies: €2 for the morning (8:00–15:00) or the afternoon (15:00–21:00), or €3.60 for the whole day. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the standard blue tariff applies. The council plans to build the bus station here, which will change the layout of the car park.
The only car park the council lists as a free park-and-walk option. There is no tariff and no time limit published; expect it to fill early on summer weekends.
Covered, guarded car park at Avinguda Sofia 2, next to the seafront promenade and, according to Parclick, about 10 minutes on foot from the railway station. Open 24 hours, height limit 2.1 m, entry by number-plate recognition. It is the only Sitges car park on Parclick, sold as passes with free cancellation until 23:59 on the day before arrival. See COPARK Avenida Sofía on Parclick.
The council also lists these private car parks, without tariffs: Plaça del Pou Vedre, Carrer de la Bassa-rodona, Carrer de Salvador Mirabent (municipal market), Carrer de Sant Francesc (Jornet), Carrer d’Àngel Vidal (El Retiro), Carrer de Sant Honorat, Plans d’Aiguadolç, Port d’Aiguadolç, Avinguda de Ronda and Terramar. None of them publishes an official price list online, so read the board at the entrance.
There are four honest ways to park for nothing:
Streets that were free a few years ago are now green zone. The council converted more than twenty streets in Poble Sec, Cases Noves and Plans d’Aiguadolç, among them Carrer del Sol, Carrer de la Lluna, Carrer de Sant Honorat and Avinguda de Sant Jordi, and in January 2026 it added Roig i Raventós, València, Mallorca, Prat de la Riba and Frederic Montornés Pino. If the bay is painted green, you pay the visitor tariff.
From Barcelona, the C-32 motorway runs through the Garraf tunnels, which are tolled; take exit 31 (Sitges Nord), 30 (Sitges Centre) or 29 (Sant Pere de Ribes). The alternative is the C-31 coast road from Castelldefels, which is toll-free, passes Les Botigues and Garraf and enters the town at Aiguadolç. From Tarragona, use exits 29 or 30. Barcelona Airport is about 30 km away.
Much of the old town is pedestrianised, including Carrer de les Parellades, Cap de la Vila, Carrer de Jesús and Carrer Marquès de Montroig. Carrer Major, Plaça de l’Ajuntament and a few neighbouring streets are pedestrian streets with restricted vehicle access. Leave the car outside and walk in: from any of the car parks above the centre is a short walk.

See Sitges car parks on Parclick →Pre-filled with the official blue-zone price for 62 minutes (€1.35). The real tariff is stepped and the longest blue-zone ticket is 3 hours (€3.70); for a full weekday, Can Robert costs €3.60.
In the blue zone the official tariff is €0.40 for 15 minutes, €1.35 for 62 minutes and €3.70 for 3 hours. In the green zone visitors pay €1.95 for 62 minutes and €3.70 for 90 minutes. The Can Robert car park costs €3.60 for a full weekday.
Mostly not. In the centre, on the seafront and in most neighbourhoods the paid hours apply from Monday to Sunday, public holidays included. Only Poble Sec and Pins Vens are charged Monday to Saturday and are free on Sundays and holidays.
In the free park-and-walk car park on Carrer del Mestre Manuel Torrents, in blue bays outside paid hours, in Terramar on ordinary weekdays outside the summer and holiday periods, and in Garraf and Les Botigues from October to April.
Yes, but it costs about twice the blue tariff and the longest ticket is 90 minutes (€3.70). Vehicles registered as resident in Sitges park there free of charge.
At the meter with coins or a bank card, or with the Blinkay app, which is the app the town council names on its parking page.
On a weekday, the Can Robert car park on Avinguda del Camí dels Capellans: €3.60 for the whole day or €2 for a morning or an afternoon. The free alternative is the park-and-walk car park on Carrer del Mestre Manuel Torrents.
Vehicles showing the official DGT zero-emissions label, fully visible, are exempt from the blue and green zone tariffs.
Not in the town itself: it is compact, the old town is largely pedestrian, and Rodalies line 2 trains link Sitges with Barcelona. A car is useful for the Garraf coast, the Penedès wine villages and Tarragona.
