Street parking in Segovia’s ORA blue zone costs €0.60 an hour in 2026, with a two-hour maximum of €1.40. For a longer visit use a car park: Acueducto PARKIA right by the Aqueduct from €3.29 an hour, or Segovia Centro – Universidad from €1.74 an hour on Parclick. This guide covers the blue and green zones and their hours, the best car parks for the Aqueduct and the Cathedral, where parking is free and the low-emission zone inside the walls.
Do you need a car? Not to see Segovia itself: the Aqueduct, the Cathedral and the Alcázar are all within walking distance. For La Granja, Pedraza, Ávila or the Sierra de Guadarrama you do: compare car rental in Segovia on DiscoverCars, or pick up at Madrid Airport if you fly in. See also our car hire in Spain guide.
Segovia regulates street parking with the ORA system, run by the city council. Around the old town there are two colours: blue bays, open to everyone for up to two hours, and green bays, which give priority to residents and allow visitors only one hour. Inside the walls most streets are a pedestrian-priority area for residents and authorised vehicles, and the whole walled town is also a low-emission zone. For a full day of sightseeing, the practical choice is one of the underground car parks near the Aqueduct or the Cathedral.

The 2026 rates confirmed by the city council are €0.60 for one hour and €1.40 for the two-hour maximum in the blue zone. The green zone is meant for residents; visitors may stay one hour, and local press puts the current price at €1.20 for that hour. According to the council, the ORA is paid from 9:30 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 20:00, so the lunchtime gap from 14:00 to 16:30 is free. Local guides add Saturday mornings (9:30–14:00) to the paid hours and say Sundays and public holidays are free, but the council does not publish a current timetable online, so always read the sign on the meter.

| Green (ORA) | Residents first, visitors short stays | About €1.20 for the 1-hour visitor maximum |

Parclick lists seven car parks in Segovia; these are the ones with clear locations and prices today. All are underground and open 24 hours.
Underground car park a few metres from the Aqueduct, with the entrance at Calle de los Coches 3. It is the obvious base if you want to start at Plaza del Azoguejo and walk up Calle Real to the Plaza Mayor. Height limit 2 m. From €3.29 per hour on Parclick, and you can cancel up to one hour before arrival. See Acueducto PARKIA on Parclick.
Car park at Plaza de la Universidad 3, next to the María Zambrano university campus, a few minutes’ walk from the Aqueduct, the Cathedral and the Alcázar. Height limit 2 m. From €1.74 per hour on Parclick, the lowest hourly price we found, with free cancellation until 23:59 the day before. See Segovia Centro – Universidad on Parclick.
Car park at Calle Doctor Velasco 26, in the upper part of the town near San Esteban church, about five minutes on foot from the Plaza Mayor and the Cathedral and closer to the Alcázar than the Aqueduct car parks. Height limit 2 m. From €27 per day on Parclick, with cancellation up to one hour before arrival. See APK2 Catedral – Oblatas on Parclick.
There is also the IC Acueducto Oriental car park at Avenida del Padre Claret 6 (height 2.2 m, open 24 hours), close to the Aqueduct; it appears on Parclick but cannot be booked there, so you pay on site.
Parking is free on streets without ORA markings or other signs, and in the ORA bays outside the paid hours, including the 14:00–16:30 lunchtime gap. Close to the Aqueduct and inside the walls, though, nearly every kerb is regulated or reserved for residents, so a free space usually means a walk of 15 minutes or more from the outer districts. The city council does not publish a list of free visitor car parks, so we do not name any here. For two hours, the blue zone at €1.40 is the cheapest legal option near the centre; for a full day, a bookable car park is simpler.
Segovia’s low-emission zone covers the walled old town and has applied since 1 January 2025. According to the RACE motoring club, it is active Monday to Thursday 7:00–20:00, Friday, Saturday and the day before a holiday 7:00–23:00, and Sundays and holidays 10:00–20:00. Cars with a DGT 0, ECO or C label can enter freely and B-label cars until 31 December 2029. Cars without a label are barred unless they are registered in the zone, and entering without permission can cost €200. For a visitor this rarely matters, because there is nowhere to park inside the walls anyway: leave the car outside and walk in.

Pre-filled with €0.60 per hour, the 2026 ORA blue-zone rate. A single blue-zone stay is capped at two hours (€1.40); for a full day, a bookable car park is the realistic option.
In the ORA blue zone €0.60 for one hour and €1.40 for the two-hour maximum (2026 rates). In the green zone visitors may stay one hour, which costs about €1.20 according to local press.
The city council gives 9:30–14:00 and 16:30–20:00. Local guides add Saturday mornings and say Sundays and public holidays are free. Check the sign on the meter, which is what counts.
Acueducto Segovia PARKIA has its entrance at Calle de los Coches 3, a few metres from the Aqueduct, from €3.29 per hour on Parclick. Segovia Centro – Universidad at Plaza de la Universidad 3 is a few minutes away and starts at €1.74 per hour.
In practice, no. Most streets inside the walls are a pedestrian-priority area for residents and authorised vehicles, and the walled town is also a low-emission zone where cars without a label are barred. Park outside and walk in.
Only on streets without ORA markings, mostly in the outer districts, and in the ORA bays outside the paid hours such as 14:00–16:30. The council publishes no list of free visitor car parks.
APK2 Catedral – Oblatas at Calle Doctor Velasco 26 is in the upper town, about five minutes from the Plaza Mayor, from €27 per day on Parclick. From there the Alcázar is an easy walk along the old town streets.
The council has proposed €0.80 per hour and €1.86 for two hours in the blue zone with a new parking contract. Until that contract starts, the 2026 rates of €0.60 and €1.40 apply.
