Valladolid keeps parking simple: a city-wide blue zone at €0.70 for the first hour and €2.35 for the two-hour maximum, free lunchtimes, evenings, Saturday afternoons and Sundays – plus a ring of underground garages around the Plaza Mayor and Campo Grande for longer stays. Here's how to handle Castile's wine capital by car in 2026.

Street parking in central Valladolid, Spain
Blue bays everywhere central – cheap, but capped at two hours.

Two hours covers the San Pablo facade, the National Sculpture Museum or a Plaza Mayor lunch – but not all three. For a full day, garages under Plaza Mayor, Plaza de España and Campo Grande run 24/7 with day caps that beat re-feeding meters.

Wine-route base: staying overnight before Ribera del Duero? Park free after 20:00 on a blue bay, breakfast in town and be on the N-122 before the meters wake at 9:00.

Where to Park for What

  • Plaza Mayor & old quarter → Plaza Mayor or Plaza de España garages
  • Campo Grande park & station → Campo Grande garage (handy for AVE connections)
  • Museums circuit (San Pablo/Sculpture) → blue bays on the north edge, 2h is enough
  • Long free stays → across the Pisuerga river, 10–12 min walk
Semana Santa: during Easter processions the centre closes street by street – garage early or park outside and walk; tow trucks clear procession routes without mercy.
