Saba Gare do Oriente is the main car park at Lisbon’s Oriente station: 1,620 covered spaces on Avenida de Berlim, open 24 hours a day. Saba advertises rates from around €1.65 per hour. A second station car park, run by Telpark, charges €1.55 for the first hour and a maximum of €9.90 per day, and the Vasco da Gama shopping centre has its own car park across the road. Gare do Oriente is Lisbon’s main interchange in Parque das Nações: long-distance and suburban trains, the red metro line, the bus station and the Vasco da Gama shopping centre all meet here. There are in fact two public car parks at the station, run by different operators, plus the shopping-centre car park across the road. Saba’s is the largest.

Covered car park with 1,620 spaces beside the station, entered from Avenida de Berlim; the main concourse is two to three minutes away on foot. It is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, with staff on hand from 08:00 to 00:30. Saba gives the maximum height as 2.10 m, while the Parclick listing says 1.9 m – with a tall vehicle, assume the lower figure.
Saba does not publish a daily maximum on its website. For a stay of a day or more – for example if you leave the car here and continue by train or fly from the airport, three metro stops away – it is worth comparing the price of a pre-booked pass before you arrive.
The second station car park, operated by Telpark (Empark), with 750 spaces and 24-hour opening. Payment by cash or Via Verde; number-plate recognition at the barrier; pre-booking available. Maximum height 1.90 m.
Three underground levels beneath the shopping centre opposite the station, with entrances on Avenida do Índico, Avenida do Pacífico and Alameda dos Oceanos. Not a 24-hour car park: you can drive in from 08:00 to midnight and out until 01:00. Charged per 15 minutes; payment by cash, Multibanco or Via Verde. LPG vehicles are not admitted.
Saba’s other car park in Parque das Nações, closer to the MEO Arena and the riverside promenade than to the station.
For a full day, Telpark’s published maximum of €9.90 is the benchmark to beat: compare it with the pre-booked price for Saba before choosing. For a quick stop at the shops, the Vasco da Gama car park is the most direct. For a late arrival or a very early train, use one of the two 24-hour station car parks.
On-street parking in Lisbon is managed by EMEL and priced by colour-coded zone. New tariffs came into force on 4 August 2026, the first increase in 15 years:

The colour, paid hours and maximum stay are shown on the signs and meters in each street. For anything longer than a couple of hours, a car park is simpler.
Oriente is on the red metro line, which runs between São Sebastião and the airport. The airport is three stops away (Moscavide, Encarnação, Aeroporto), which makes the station car parks a workable place to leave the car before a flight. For the Baixa and Chiado, take the red line towards São Sebastião and change to the green line at Alameda or the blue line at São Sebastião. The metro runs from 06:30 to 01:00.
