Monza splits into two parking worlds: the compact ZTL-protected centro storico, where the move is the Piazza Cambiaghi lot (100+ spaces on the centre's edge – just not Thursday/Saturday mornings, when the market takes it), and the Parco di Monza/autodromo, which runs its own event-day system. Blue bays line viale Lecco and via Bergamo for everyone else. Here's 2026, Grand Prix included.

| Option | Notes | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Piazza Cambiaghi lot | 100+ spaces, edge of centre; market Thu/Sat mornings | Duomo & shopping |
| Blue bays (viale Lecco, via Bergamo) | Metered, standard Lombard hours | Short errands |
| Park & train (from Milan) | 10 min rail hop from Milan | Skipping the drive entirely |
| Parco di Monza lots | Free/cheap normal days; event regime on race days | Park, villa & circuit visits |
The medieval core around the Duomo (home of the Iron Crown) and via Italia is a camera ZTL – don't wander in following the GPS. Cambiaghi puts you two minutes' walk from everything; when the Thursday/Saturday market claims it, fall back to the blue bays on the eastern approaches or the garages near the station.
On normal days, the park's gates (Porta Monza, Vedano side) have straightforward cheap or free parking – lovely for the Villa Reale and a walk under the trees. On Grand Prix weekend everything changes: official event parking zones, one-way road regimes and pre-booked passes. If you're coming for the F1, buy parking with your ticket or park in Milan and ride the shuttle-train combo to Biassono/Monza.
Piazza Cambiaghi on the centre's edge – except Thursday and Saturday mornings (market). Then use the eastern blue bays or station garages.
No – it's a camera ZTL. The centre is tiny; park on the rim and walk two minutes.
On normal days the gate-side lots are cheap or free. On event/race days an official paid regime applies – book ahead for the GP.
Pre-book official event parking, or park in Milan and take the train (Biassono/Monza stations + walk/shuttle). Free-lancing on race day doesn't end well.
Absolutely – Duomo, Villa Reale and Europe's loveliest walled park in half a day, with far easier parking than Milan 15 km away.
